Quay Care is a local family run care agency which began trading in 2001, it is owned and managed by Lyn Towl. We currently employ 30 staff all of whom have been police checked with the Criminal Records Bureau and check by the Independent Safeguarding Authority. All staff have recieved Skills for Care Induction Training and on-going training in subjects relevent to their job role (first aid, infection control, food hygiene,safeguarding adults, dementia awareness, medication etc)
The Services we Offer in Your Own Home
- Personal care
- Assistance with meals
- Assistance with medication
- Light housework
- Accompanying to appointments, clubs, day centre etc
- Taking the individual out for coffee, shopping etc.
- Assistance with budgeting and paying bills
- Sleep in and night sitting

We enable individuals to work in reaching their personal goals and potential.
We specialise in providing support for those who have a mental health problem, learning disability, dementia, terminal illness, physical disability and older people.
Supported Living Home in Barnstaple
Providing accommodation and support to adults with mental health problems. The home comprises of ten bedrooms (some en-suite) with 2 kitchens (shared) and 2 lounges (shared), car parking and large garden. The amount of support will depend on an individual's assessed need but can be from 1 to 24 hours.
